Dr. Selena Harrison has known she's wanted to work with animals since as early as she can remember. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, it became clear she wanted to combine her passions of animals and helping people to become a veterinarian. 

Dr. Harrison joins Mt. Hood Pet Medical in her return to the west coast after spending the last several years in the Midwest completing her doctorate. She graduated in 2017, with her undergraduate in Animal Science at UC Davis in California, and went on to get her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois, in Urbana-Champaign in 2022. 

When Dr. Harrison is not in the office treating her patients, she can be found spending time with her husband, Misael and their five pets - two dogs and three cats. During her spare time, she loves hiking, reading and buying new plants.
